HEALTHY PERKS

"Early to bed, Early to rise, makes the man healthy, wealthy & wise". These are some of the most prominent words, we all have heard during our childhood. At that time, we used to get annoyed by hearing these bunch of words constantly along with the illustrations of accomplished individuals morning routines.

However growing up, a sense of realization developed that "Why we are emphasized to sleep & to wake up early?"

So to discover this theory of BEING EARLY, let's delve into the blog.

REPAIR MECHANISM:

All day we are endeavoring a lot to achieve our goals, as a result of this restless hard-work, our body needs a rest in form of a peaceful sleep of 8 hours
The reason we are recommended to sleep early is that during the time period of 12am to 4am, our body is dealing with the Repair Mechanism. In this mechanism, our body is getting healed from all the wear & tear which took place during our noon activities, as well as our body organs are getting prepared to hustle productively next day.

GROWTH PROCESS:

In early morning during the dawngrowth hormones are released into the body, which contributes to the development & growth of the body.
Since growth hormones remain activated till 12pm, therefore medical experts specify us to complete all our crucial chores of the day before noon as it is the most constructive period of the day.

Most people are aware about the risks of lung cancer with smoking, but many people who smoke do not realize that dying from cardiovascular disease is more likely than dying from lung cancer,” This is the statement of Dr Sadiya Khan, who is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine

Following statement is a bold truth that many of the smokers are victims of Cardiac Arrest instead of Lung Cancer. But, Do you people have even pondered that why does this happen? I think you have never burst the curiosity for discovering the answer of this question.

Let's search together!

VASODILATION & ENDOTHELIUM:

There is a wide expanded network of vessels spreading throughout our body, branching out from one organ to emerging into another. These vessels are gifted with the ability of vasodilation, which allows the vessels to dilate, hence increasing the flow of blood.
Furthermore, a smooth internal lining is carpeted throughout the vessels that help to maintain a flawless transportation of blood. This smooth internal lining is called as Endothelium.

SMOKING, THE DETERIORATOR:

Nicotine is a very harmful & an addictive component of cigarettes, which annihilates endothelium, as well as leads to the formation of rough patches where the bulk of fat is deposited, thus causing thrombus formation
Since thrombus formation hardens the muscular walls, therefore the vessels lost the ability of vasodilation; it hinders the flow of blood as the diameter of vessels started to constrict.
As a consequent of which, immense pressure is developed on the heart to overcome the thrombus resistance.
With the passage of time, this load develops into fatal cardiac diseases, that states an ultimatum to either quit smoking or jump into the river of death.

Since our childhood, we our consistently hearing that Smoking is a lethal activity which causes many pulmonary complications.

In many institutions or public awareness campaigns, we have also been demonstrated that as a consequence of regular smoking our lungs appear as a black sponge, which can fill the entire beaker with charcoal colored sticky viscous solution. One of the pulmonary disease, which is commonly diagnosed in smokers is "Bronchitis".

TRACHEA & BRONCHUS:

Trachea is a muscular pipe, which is also known as "Wind Pipe". It contains "C" shaped cartilages, that are responsible to prevent Trachea from getting collapsed, as well as to give flexibility to it. Many goblet cells here produces sticky mucus to trap dust particles & numerous amount of ciliated epithelial cells move that mucus along the airways.
Further division of trachea into smaller & narrower branches is called as Bronchus. Despite the fact that all the structures of Bronchus & Trachea are most likely to be the same, except for the shape of cartilages.

BRONCHITIS:

Whilst smoking, Tar is consumed, which is one of the most prominent constituent of the cigarettes. This tar is trapped by the mucus due to higher mucus generation rate in Bronchus. As a result of which the contaminated mucus promotes the growth of Bacteria emerging into the lungs through air. Ultimately, this causes Inflammation of Bronchus, which is specifically defined as Bronchitis.
